The Queen Anne's lace is all over the roads up here. It always reminds me to slow down and take in my surroundings.
This is a small wooden domino. I it is part collage, with an old piece of text covered paper. I then painted over it. The domino is sealed with diamond glaze, which gives it a protective waterproof coat that will stand up to everyday wear and tear. ( I wouldn't recommend swimming with it though) A sterling silver bail is glued to the back and it is strung on black hemp cord. The domino measures .75 by 1.5 inches. the cord is about 17.5 inches. The cord closes with a loop and bead.

How could I not love this? "Weedlace" comes from Queen's Anne Lace, a luxurious weed all over the place around where I live. Well done!
